Interesting Doepke Modified Dump Vehicle

When searching the internet in 2004 I found a very unique but rare Doepke modified toy that was at an Auction. If anyone owns this please let me know.

Nothing Doepke about this other than the tires. It is a modified MARX Site Dumper. VERY cool toy. Here is a link to one I recently restored…

    And a wildly-colored original MARX Site Dumper…

Enjoy browsing the entire site of more than 400 pressed-steel toys.

A view of the other side of the toy would show an engine. I know because I built it in the late ’90s. Mine and yours are based on the second version of the toy. The first had a hand crank to rotate the dump box. Indeed, one of the coolest toys Marx made. Too bad the front tires effervesced. I should have painted it orange, but the OD is nice.
